This venture of Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha Puttur ® has been started for the benefit of the local community. The main objective of this adventure is to become public voice for the community development. On January 12, 2017 Radio Panchajanya 90.8 FM was inaugurated by Mrs. Nirmala Seetharaman, Finance Minister, Government of India. Panchajanya is broadcasting variety of programmes on Education, Agriculture, Health, Science & Technology, Sports, Literature, Art, Music, Cooking, Yakshagana, Dairy, Bhajan, etc. in the regional language. In total 36 variety programs are broadcasted. Panchajanya reaches to the audience of Puttur, Sullia, Belthangady and Bantwal Taluk. It has been so popular among the community within a very short spam. Panchajanya is also available in android application. It has also got internet streaming and archives.
